Excellente application qui permet en quelques secondes de pratiquer nimporte quel score ou correction de donnée biologique. Description des formules utilisées, compatibilité avec toute unité courante, excellente ergonomie. Rien à redire. Un gain de temps fou. Les 5€ sont vite rentabilisés.

Formulaire au Top, indispensable dans la pratique médicale. On appréciera la MAJ gratuite pour les possesseurs de l’ancienne version Medcalc !

Depuis quelques temps, la recherche des formules par Spotlight ne fonctionne plus. Obligation de réinstaller lapplication. Très bonne appli par ailleurs.

I love it. I’m an attending anesthesiologist at a very busy trauma center/hospital. We also have a busy ASC. use this almost daily as I haven’t time for paper and pen to do lots of calculations!

Unable to import previous purchase. Tried multiple times without success. Then tried contacting support multiple times without any reply. Otherwise a good app that I ultimately repurchased

App looks great but scores are not updated often. Many basic scores and outcome metrics are missing and not there. I open this app, look for score, find it’s not there, and then open MDCalc instead.

It does upgrade well. Contact their app support if you can’t. The app is really useful and full of important calculations.

It's a great app but it's not restoring my previous purchase unlocking the formulas. As soon it is fixed I will rate 5 stars

This app is not free. Luring in potential customers with the App Store's free label is shady.

The app was recommended by fellow medical students. One of the options to get the premium version is to create a doximity account within the app. I did so and it never unlocked the premium version. I tried using the contact us link within the app and it endlessly buffered. Might be a great app if it worked like it says it does. Update: finally managed to send a message to app support and it's been 4 days with no response

Easiest to use and most informative. You can unlock for free with a new doximity account.

I have been a long-time user of this application, it is been updated many times. I purchased it a long time ago and following the instructions I was able to get this updated application free and it imported my previous favorites. There are free medical calculators which I also have on my iPhone but this has more calculations than the rest.

I've used this app since medical school. I was finally tired of seeing the upgrade screen before I used a calculator so I upgraded. Very easy to send my favorites over to the new app and since I purchased pro and had all access previously I continue to have all access now. I literally use this app everyday and it has all the equations I need in one place.

Medcalc was one of the best medical calculators-until it became medcalx. Many usual functions/calculator are not available unless you make an additional purchase--even if you purchased the full MedCalc previously. Frustrating, dishonest. Integrity is key so I will find a different calculator and encourage others to do the same.

Misleading!! I was charged without showing the price of this app.

Just bought this a month ago, already had to update twice and now the new update that says it should be free for people who already bought Med calc will not load without me paying for it again. I haven't used it much because 10 sec EM is easier to search. Sorry I bought this.

The free unlock/import worked fine--had to go to "Settings" INSIDE the app to make this happen, but easily done. Great app, provides good actionable info.

Lied about upgrade, took away features and holding them for ransom. Use another calculator

I'm a full version user of MedCalc. There was no free unlock of this new app. I deleted it. The MedCalc Pro has always worked fine anyway

MedCalc was much better, MedCalx was just created so that the publishers could start charging for features that were previously free.

Some things to make this a much more powerful app would be to include more information like the actual equation and how to exactly interpret the results (missing in some eqs). Also, I would love some information on pathophys and mechanism of why some parameters affect a score . . i.e. why would an increase creatinine affect someone's MELD score. I retain things better if I know how it works. . I can input data and get a score in any other website or calculator.

Yes, it's a bit of a hassle to upgrade, however if you previously purchased MedCalc there is a relatively painless process for migrating all your data to this new iteration. MedCalX works as well as MedCalc did and is worth the money if you want all the most up to date medical formulas with their PubMed links.

This is still the best calculator and my daily go-to app. There’s only 1 or 2 formulas I’m missing that would be great to see added in the future (FIB-4 and West Haven please!). Not sure why they made a new app again but the import worked without problems and I didn’t have to pay again.

I have the full MedCalc app and received the message that they are changing the program to MedCalx. They state that if you have the unlocked MedCalc, that MedCalx would be unlocked, and all you have to do is have both applications downloaded at the same time. Well, it's not unlocked, and my preferences were not carried over. At best, this is deceptive; at worst, the developer is lying. Don't delete MedCalc from your device and keep using that "older" version!

This app is good, I won't deny that. But... How come with each new version (which has the same formulas or even less in some cases) I have to pay to unlock them if I already did with Medcalc 2.7.5 (3230) which by the way had the best functionalities and access to all formulas. I won't pay again, too bad they don't offer support to the older and better version

Why would I want to upgrade to medcalcx when the original medcalc has all of the formulas and doesn't require in app purchases to access them?! I'll stick with the older app, thanks
